Web Guru Hawaii

Honolulu web design studio

Websites that bring Hawaii businesses more calls, not just compliments.

We design, rebuild and look after websites for businesses on Oʻahu and the neighbor islands. Every project starts by measuring what your current site is doing on a phone, in search and at the moment someone tries to reach you.

Same business, clearer website

A redesign is a set of decisions, not a new coat of paint

The “before” looks familiar because it is common: a welcome message, a slideshow, eight menu items and a phone number nobody can tap. The “after” answers three questions in the first screen: what you do, where, and how to reach you now. Drag the divider to compare the two.

  • 1Headline says the service and the area
  • 2Tap-to-call and booking in the first screen
  • 3Services named the way customers search
  • 4Proof placed beside the decision

The first screen doesn’t say what you do

A slideshow or a “Welcome to our website” headline makes visitors work out whether they are in the right place.

Lead with the service, the area you cover and one clear next step.

Honolulu studio · the islands

Honolulu studio, websites across the islands

We are a Honolulu-based team working with businesses across the islands, mostly remotely, with calls in Hawaii time. A website in Hilo does a different job from one in Honolulu, so every plan starts from how customers in your town find, compare and contact you. Pick a town.

Illustrative map · simplified island outlines. Pins mark towns, not offices: we are based in Honolulu and work with the other islands mostly remotely. Town-page note: Google’s doorway-page policy.

Win the side-by-side comparison on a phone

Audience: Residents, commuters and visitors

What websites here usually have to do

  1. 01Answer what, where and how in the first screenPeople compare several businesses in one sitting, usually on a phone. The first screen should name the service, the neighborhoods you cover and a tap-to-call or booking button.
  2. 02Make getting there practicalFor a shop, clinic or restaurant, parking, entrances and validation details save a phone call. Put them beside the address, not on a separate page.
  3. 03Area pages only where you have something to sayA Kakaʻako or Kailua page earns its place when it shows real work, hours or directions there. Dozens of near-identical town pages are what Google’s spam policies call doorways.

Common miss: A homepage written for “Hawaii” in general that never says which part of the island you actually serve.

Questions

Questions people ask before a website project

Don’t see yours? Ask us directly.

How much does a website cost in Hawaii?

It depends on the number of pages, the features (booking, online ordering, a store) and how much content needs writing. We quote a fixed scope after the free teardown and a short call, so you see the full price in writing before any work starts.

How long does a redesign take?

Timelines depend on scope and how quickly content and feedback come together. The written plan includes a schedule with review dates, so you know when you will see designs, a working preview and the launch.

Can you fix my existing WordPress site instead of rebuilding it?

Often, yes. The teardown shows whether targeted fixes (speed, updates, contact paths) will do the job or whether a rebuild is the better investment. We will tell you if a rebuild isn’t worth it.

Will a redesign hurt my Google rankings?

Not if it is handled carefully. We map every old URL to its new home with permanent redirects, keep the content that already ranks, and check Search Console after launch.

Do you work with businesses outside Honolulu?

Yes. We work with businesses across Oʻahu, Maui, Hawaiʻi Island and Kauaʻi, mostly remotely, with calls scheduled in Hawaii time.

Who writes the content?

You know your business best, so we start from your notes and existing pages. We edit for clarity and search, write page outlines, and can draft service pages for you to approve.

Who is behind Web Guru Hawaii?

Web Guru Hawaii is the website design service of NogaTech IT Solutions LLC, a Honolulu software company. The same team handles your project from teardown to launch and support.
